The role of the person is to define and evolve products in the Product Portfolio to make them world-class by making them competitive by differentiating them from other products in the target market.
The person will be responsible for performing industry and market analysis, competitive analysis, win-loss analysis and defining product and pricing strategy for the netCore Platforms.
- The person should be familiar with the web-based Service Oriented Architecture and basic big-data analytics to be able to communicate with Engineering and QA in their language.
Duties and responsibilities
Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
Contributing to the industry analysis (researching customer needs for a particular industry), and features to be built to satisfy those needs.
Creating unique value proposition to help the Marketing Team position the product and creating requirement specifications to communicate to the Engineering Team.
Specifying market requirements for current products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers, competitive analysis and interacting with the Sales Team to obtain their feedbacks or Win-Loss Analysis.
Assisting the Product Manager to build roadmaps, use case scenarios, user personas, and other artifacts to support development and delivery of the product that meets target user needs.
Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering) ensuring that the requirements are developed as per specifications and delivered on time with quality.
Driving Release management process to ensure that interactions between Engineering and QA Team are streamlined and client deliverables are released with Product Manuals.
Working with User Experience team to come up with highly usable and aesthetic UI mock ups.
Perform System-Provider UAT to ensure that product is created from usability point of view.
Developing and managing relevant product documentation such as MRDs, PRDs and User Guides.
